Anegada is the second largest island in the British Virgin Islands, is the only one flat and low while the other islands are mountainous. The highest point is about 28 feet above de sea level, the island is about 15 sq miles with 200 people. It formed from coral and limestone and have the largest coral reef in the caribbean and the fourth on earth.
Anegada es la segunda isla mas largar en las islas virgenes Britanicas, es la unica isla plana cuando las otras islas son montanosas. La elevacion mas altat es de 28 pies sobre el nivel del mar, la isla es de 15 metros cuadrados con 200 habitantes. Estar formada de coral y piedra caliza y tiene los mas largos corales en el caribe y el cuarto en el mundo.
We toke the Ferry from Tortola (6:40 am) with a little stop in Virgin Gorda and then we arrived at Anegada an 1 hour and 27 minutes it was $50 roundtrip. We want go walking with the stroller across the island, but when we arrived we decided to rent a USV in S&K rental for the all day for only $55
Nosotros tomamos el Ferry desde tortola (6:40 am) con una pequena parada en Virgen Gorda y luego llegamos a Anegada en 1 hora y 27 minutos fue $50 ida y vuelta. Nosotros queriamos caminar con el coche alrededor de la isla pero al llegar decidimos rentar un USV en S&K por todo el dia por solo $55.
Anegada not only have beautiful beaches it have other attractions, we drove the car through the Settlement the main town (the have fire station, police depatment, a christian church, a elementary school, shops, houses, a museum (faulkener house), the iguana sactuary and an airport
Anegada no solo tiene hermosas playas tambien tiene otras actaciones, nosotros pasamos por el asentamien el pueblo pincipal (tienen el departamento de bomberos, la policia, una iglesia cristiana, una escuela elemental, bodegas, casas, un museo (la casa de Faulkener), un santuario de iguanas y un aereopuerto.
we visited one of the main beaches "Loblolly bay", is one of the most visited spots on Anagada because of its great snorkeling and beautiful white sand.

The Second Beach most visited is Cow Wrech, this beach is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, this beach has a variety of animals such as turtles, fish, conch... This place has a Bar / Restaurant that is famous for serving lunch and dinner. Some of their specialities are lobster, conch, fish, steak, ribs and chicken. They used local wood for cooking. People hereare very friendly!
They have a sign before entering with sandals, that people lose it on the beach when they come (I think that is funny)
La segunda playa mas visitada es Cow Wrech, esta playa es perfecta para nadar y snorklin esta playa tienen una variedad de animales como tortugas , peces, conch... Esta lugar tiene un Bar/ Restaurante que es famoso por servir almuerzo y cena. Algunas de sus especialidades son langosta, concha, pez, Filete de vaca, costillas y pollo. Ellos usan madera local para cocinar. Las personas de aqui son muy Amigables!
Ellos tienes un signo lleno de sandalias que las personas pierden cuando vienen a la playa (yo pienso que esta chistoso)
We were exploring the island and we found this beach, this beautiful sand, the trees theenvironment everything is perfect. There is a part of the beach that the sand is covered in broken shells by the waves and the rocks.

Estuvimos Explorando toda la isla y encontramos esta playa, esta hermosa la arena, los arboles el ambiente todo es perfecto.

Anegada has a long salt pond that covering most of the western part of the island, one of the attractions in the pond are the flamingos (we saw it from far) because they not coming close to people (sad).
Anegada tiene un lago de sal que cubre la mayoria de la parte oeste de la isla, una de sus atraciones en el lago son los flamencos (nosotros lo miramos desde lejos) porque no vienen cerca de las personas (triste)
